My Shih tzu a bit smelly Can't Post

Well.. I keep Bobby inside my room.. And he is a bit smelly.. I not complaining that i cannot tolerate the smell, but i would like to know anything i can do to reduce the smell.. I onli bath him once a week as i heard that we shudn't bath him too many times in a week.. I been trying to clean up his messy paw with water everyday and also wipe his private part everytime he pee or poo.. I even clean his eye twice a day with a wet towel.. After he took his meal, i will help to clean his mouth.. Any more i can do?

i think it's the puppy smell.. dun worry, when ur bobby gets older, the smell will eventually goes off..

you may try to apply some baby powder on him so that he will smell good..

I heard there are people putting baby powder on their shih tzu and their brush it.. Is this a proper way of cleaning the dog? Or juz to make it smell better?

yea.. apply baby powder can only get rid of the body odour.. but, it does not really clean the dog..

Btw.. The body smell fine.. In fact no smell at all.. But the face there.. Wah... Can make me faint.. I not sure whether it come from the nose or mouth... But i can be sure not from the tear.. Coz i clean it about 3 times a day.. He is teething now... May i know wat are the possibility that make his face so smelly.. Anyway to solve it?

Everytime after he makan, i will wipe his the hair around his mouth.. But i still dun understand why the hair around his mouth is brown in colour.. Er.. I din wash the hair around face area with syampoo... coz i sked the syampoo will accidentally got into his mouth or nose.. U wash ur dog face with syampoo?

yup.. i did shampoo my boy's face area.. he already used to it.. he will not lick his nose during that time.. kekke.. maybe u can try to use a cloth, wet it with shampoo and then wipe his face lo... and rinse it with water.. after each meal, u use a cloth, wash it with shampoo and then only use it to clean his mouth area.. then use a dry cloth to dry up the wet area.. hopefully this will help to get rid of the bad smell..
