Re: [SupaMolly] Molly Biting her own leash [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi,

My Russell has bitten and broken a few leashes already. I gave up and bought those chain leashes. Problem solved. Laugh I know of a fried who rubbed chilli padis on the leash to prevent her dog from biting it but didn't work as well.

Re: [SupaMolly] Molly Biting her own leash [In reply to] Can't Post

they meant metal leash not metal collar...metal leash serve d same purpose as d nylon leash....is juz tat it looks not tat nice if u wanted to bring ur dog out....

it depends on ur purpose...if u wan 2 tie molly at home .... use metal leash ... like wat i use on pacco...

but when going out for a walk ....use nylon leash...coz u can alwiz keep n eye on molly n prevent her from biting it...

n usually dog bite out of boredom.....during walk they won't bite.... they onli free to bite when they r being neglected alone..

Re: [SupaMolly] Molly Biting her own leash [In reply to] Can't Post

as u know, i'm a busy student.....so whenever i'm not around....pacco spend her time inside d cage...

when i reach home...i spend some time wit her b4 i do anything else...

but ofcoz i kenot devoted all my time to her either...so i juz tie her at the front porch.....but d leash is long enuf for her to walk around....n she enjoy being tie in front of d house rather than spending time inside d cage @ backyard....

i too don't wan her to get herself into trouble...my dog kenot be trusted when left alone...unless d house is owned by me...

if i got my very own house....i can even give her a bedroom....

Amanda85..

hahaha yea i understand.. same goes to me too.. although molly is a perfect dog when im with her in the bed room.. she still can ruin things when im not around.. but so far.. no records

That's y i leash her when im away... sometimes when im busy also. i leash her as well.. just to make sure she's within reach and i dont have to look around for her...

Re: [SupaMolly] Molly Biting her own leash [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi SupaMolly,

Russell is 1 1/2 years old already. And I meant the metal leash, not the metal collar. But Russell bites everything. He spoilt the metal leash by biting the handle, which is made out of cloth. So the metal leash ended up not being a full proof solution. Crazy

Anyway, I don't tie my dogs up. I lock them up in my bedroom instead. I only use the leash when i take them out for walks.
