This should be easy. Every time the dog starts barking say no in a loud and firm voice - be firm about this. You should not continue sweeping the floor with him barking. He should eventually cotton on to the fact that he's not supposed to bark at the broom/mop. Another method is to fill a small can with some small pebbles and rattle it loudly when the dog starts barking. This should startle the dog and cause him to stop barking. Keep doing this until the dog learns he's not supposed to bark at the broom/mop.
yaya...i also think like tat too...my pup always chase it, so i gotta put him into the cage then he will keep barking & barking....i even cover his cage with towel....
brilliant idea ! whenever molly barks at mops and brooms when im moping.. i leash her up.. and let her bark until she is tired.. and i still mop my floor..
few times do this, and she willl feel bored and meaningless to bark..
