Hi,

I have a chihuahua too. Basically, male or female really depends on your personal preference.

About taking care of the pup: chihuahuas are quite easy to take care as they are small. As long they have food, water, toys and house to stay in; they should be fine. Of course they need love from you..

Do post a picture when you get your pup..

A lot of people say that male would hold thier legs up and pee. But I got a golden retriever who I got when he was 2 months old and he pee like a female. Anyway, he is 8 months now and he still pee like a girl.

So it really depends on you.. By the way, you planning to get a long coat or short coat wawa?

Actually they are just like normal dogs just that they are small size only which consume less food.

as u describe 'urine' problem...all dogs will hv it, if d owner did not trained d dog to urine at the specific area of the house.

but, male dogs hv marking problem..., which means that when u bring him out for walk, they tend to urine n mark at every tree or 'obstacle' that they encounter....

hi dysentery,

U must be happy to own a baby now. I am also looking for a chihuahua pup. You have any idea where i can find one ? Pet shops are way too expensive and the pups there seems to be undergoing some mental stress.

Do let me know at raysern

Thanks so much.
