Does anyone know if there's been further developments vis-a-vis the proposed by-law reported in the following story:

Which would legitimise keeping dogs in flats?

actually, im really happy to see this in the news. at least for tat time, the authority is doing some justice for fairness among citizens , thanks to the Association

but 1 ting tat passes my mind is, they say must get a written approval from the local authorities. then wat if the law is not jalan yet.. wat if they din make any further announcement so tat ALL high rise building mgmts know abt tis news. and in the end, my proposal din work, and they reject my dog. in the end my dog may hav to go to zzzzz

when come to tink of tis, i tink i might as well keep molly secret. don u tink so? of cos, my condo mgmt say close 1 eye

Well, there's really no point speculating since there has been absolutely no news about this proposed legislation ever since it was proposed. My solution to this unsatisfactory state of affairs is to move.

hehe.. ppl call me drama queen sometimes.. cus last time owes participate in drama competition .. so. lol !

no la.. actually, ive been hearing and seeing sad news from local and other countries abt how bad they treat dogs. so, i feel the suden struck when see and tink of wat our gov cant do to help the poor doggies out there. kinda relate to the documentaries in the satelite programs

hmm.. maybe in certain aspects yes. but some are forums like 1 in china, they fight abt the dogs above the height 35cm or inch (forgot liaw) not allowed into city area.. then many dog owners cry and cry and cry.

u hav a feeling its drama also?

Documentary makers usually have an agenda. They want to persuade you to take on board their point of view. They can over-dramatise something, take things out of context, or even deliberately falsify information. The same naturally goes for things you read on the net, especially all the drama stuff.Frown

wat u see, read & listen to in the media abt animals' welfare in other countries are mere drama sometimes. u tell me, which country wanna produce a piece of media saying they treat their animals bad??? all also will show they're good & will do somethin if there are animals' cruelty (whr got florist say their flowers smelly??? Cool
