Neutering solves spraying problem? Can't Post

Hi,

I've got a male english cocker spaniel who is 1 1/2 years old. He's toilet trained and knows how to go to the newspaper in the toilet. Problem is that he constantly likes to angkak kaki and sprays his super duper yellow urine everywhere. his favourite place is on the balcony door, and on the curtians. whenever i bring something new home, like a box or if a take out the newly washed comforter, he will surely mark his scent there. I've got another female dog and she gives me no problem.

I have a friend that neutered her male puppy because he had the same problem. After being neutered, her dog doesn't mark his territory around the house anymore. My dog is more than 1 years old already. Will neutering still help? Is there any other way?

btw, my dog's urine is extremely yellow even though he drinks alot of water and pees alot. Is this normal?

neutering cannot stop ur dog from 'spraying'....

but it can stop him from marking every trees that he come across during daily walk....

i don't own any male dog...but my fren told me that she had train her male puppy since young not to 'angkat kaki' to pee in d house...

I don't mind him marking every single single tree. I just don't want him to do his marking inside the apartment. If neutering can reduce his markings, I might seriously consider it.Unimpressed

un-neutered dogs tends to do marking outdoor...

as for indoor....all dogs shld b trained only to pee only @ specific area n not marking everywhere...

Neut. or Spayed will not solve your problem.
