Hi, Please don't focus on the price. First you must get to know the health of the puppy. If you pay 1500 for a sick puppy or mix breed, then I will say it is no worth.
So please check the background of the puppy. Who is the breeder ? If possible talk to the breeder. is it a champion bloodline ?

haha....if u buy frm petshop....u consider urself lucky if u manage to get a healthy one...
as for champline....don't ever tot about tat...
if u gotta see d parent....1st is ofcoz, make sure they r pure GR frm d outlook....n expert GR owner can tell whether d parent had d show quality a not....usually ppl tends to believe that pups will grow to resemble d parents...2nd..make sure they r healthy n d mother did not suffer frm overbreeding...
if u choose d pup frm petshop...try to make sure that d pup is active, do not show sign of timid or shyness, bright eyes n alert...

I would agreed, hard to find a really nice healthy puppy in petshops especially those very big and commercial ones. They don't care much other than making money.
But I found this little pet shop that is a little better from the rest. The shop owner give you 1 week guarantee of the puppies health. So basically, you will have enough time to go to a vet, give your pup a checkup to make sure it is healthy. If you don't want to bring your pup to vet, that 1 week is also useful to let you observe the pup. If any problem with your pup, this shop will refund in full or pay for the medical bill. Since the shop owner himself is also a breeder, he is also very helpful and willing to share his experience and knowledge with his customers. If you really buying from petstores, see if they can give you some guarantee.
This petshop owner also thought me that by looking at the dog poo, you will know if the dog is healthy or not. A healthy dog poo shouldn't be too soft nor too hard nor contains any undigest eatable food. I found that this is true, even a slight pain or discomfort on my dog, his poo will tell.
