Re: [Jenn77] How To Avoid Ear Infections [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Jenn, great to hear that. I also use it to clean my silky ears every time after bathing. So far so good. Have a good holiday & Happy New Year.

Hi & Happy New Year, it sound like the infection has not cleared and you have stopped the medicine. You must continue until the smell is totally gone. The solution describe in the cocker spaniel website can be tried out to see if it work any better or faster as compare to the medicine given by the Vet. For my case, it worked better than expected and now I used it weekly to clean his ears. Maybe U should finish the vet medicine first and see if it work or not but the smell must be totally gone for a complete healing. It is a small hassle to try the 'solution' coz it is not easy to locate the ingredients but not too difficult also. anyway good luck and hope yr kiko will get well soon. one more thing, must be careful when bathing and not let water get in the ears. better to clean kiko ears every time after bath with tissue & cotton buds. ok.
