Yest evening i brought my 2 doggies to tmn sutera (JB) dog park n they enjoyed free running on the green grassy field. They made friends very fast with other 3 doggies there and all them started chasing and playing happily with each other. Because the field is gated and it is safe to let all dogs running around. I really enjoy watching them.

Hi, this is a new place just set up by a vet in JB. He rented 2 small pc of empty land and fence it up. Dogs here are unleashed n can roam freely. the fee is v reasonable, RM30 per annum. I dun have digital camera, must borrow from my fren n will try to take some photo to share with you.
How's kl dog park? Hope it jadi la so that our fur friends have bigger place to roam around.

Hi, the dog park is located at jln sutera merah, tmn sutera. U may go by tmn perling. Open daily from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. It's a v green and cosy area, but a bit hot in the evening sun. Of course they allow all dogs, provided the dog can be controlled.

too bad, kl don't hv a dog park actually.....
but nonetheless i try to bring my dog to a park when there aren't many ppl around....
however, juz a reminder, that eventhough u r in an official dog park.....make sure that all other dogs are friendly n non-aggressive b4 letting your own dog to b offleash....
i've encounter in various occasion where dogs engage in fights .... n even my female dog get bullied.....

Sorry, it's opening hour is from 5pm to 7pm. I went there again yesterday evening, my two doggies really enjoy running on the field. There are not many dogs on weekdays, but quite crowded on weekends. Where do u stay? Cos it is located in walking distance fr my home, so it is v convenient to me n my dogs.

I do agree that sometimes dog fight happens in the park. But there are a dog trainer and his two helpers in the park looking after the place. They will normally act fast to stop the dogs from hurting each other. My female mongrel is a big bully and she likes to bite small animal. Once she pulled a small dog's ear and the owner screamed. The dog trainer then separated them to different area. But i feel quite bad.. Since then i will not bring my dogs there whenever i see any small breed inside.

U may bring your furkids over and have a look 1st. The staff there are v friendly. They will not chase your furkids out cos u r not a member. I haven't pay them yet too.

haha... so no need to be the member 1st la! :) i hope i can bring them there. they are so "ke lian" during my working hrs... just stay at home! i think must get 1 day to visit the place. oh ya, is it open from mon to sun? any off day? do u hav the person in charge contact no.? i need to know where is the actual location so that will not go wrong way. i'm from desa cemerlang. dun mind u can email me ur contact no. as well to jusgarfield@hotmail.com

Hi, me and my doggies go to the park almost everyday except weekends. Cos there are many dogs on weekends, i normally try to avoid dog fights..
To organise a gathering, hmm.. i think should not be a big problem if only small group of ppl (& dogs) are involved. But i think we should get permission from the owner of the park first. Did u call them ?

Hi All,
Was excited to hear about the dog park and went over to take a look...
Well, it is more like a fenced up play-pent rather than a park. Personally, I thought the area was quite small for dogs to run around comfortably. HOWEVER, it would be a good place for dogs & dog owners to socialise thou.
Have to also give credit to the organisers who kept it very clean & cosy; the grass was well trimmed and they provided benches for dog owners to sit & chat.
Hopefully this initiative by the organiser would serve as a precedent for more dog friendly places in JB - which by the way, is so limited & restricted, its suffocating me & my dog! :(
