Hello everybody...I am Lilian from Penang. Used to own a male mixed min pin-chihuahua called Blessing but died at 8 yrs of age coz of kidney failure. Cried my eyes out. Blessing is very intelligent- understood 2 pages list of english words. can differentiate between ball, car, socks! ..That was two years ago.

Now, I have 3 min pins (1 spayed 2 yr old female called Oreo, 1 two yr old male called Zoe and a 6 mth old female called Kairos), and 1 mixed min pin+chi female called Shama..Have I confused you ppl with all the names?? Shama and Zoe had 3 pups (7 weeks old) called Big Boy, Kadosh and Nikao. Great to know you doggy lovers here!.

Also, I love dogs with tails, and therefore the puppies tails are not docked. Cannot understand why the standard for min pins is that tails must be docked. My dogs wagged their tails so vigorously and yet I can only see moving stumps! What a pity..

Oreo is my spoiled brat!. She has special access to my room and sleeps with me every nite in the air cond room. Wears 'pyjamas', too.

O yes, two of my min pin likes to howl too. No idea why they howl, and no idea how to stop them from howling. Also found out that min pins can be super stubborn and likes to pretend to not understand. My mix chi tends to be more easily trained.

welcome, welcome to the forum !!! Its great to know that there is more minpin owner joining us ! I own a minpin too she is only 4 months old named : Mocha. Adorable but stubborn and notty like me. Laugh

I'm in Penang at the moment for holidays !

Hi Everybody! Thanks for your warm welcome. I really do feel at home here.

Have not heard of Burnese Mountain dog before, You have any photos of the breed?

I would love to have a silky terrier/yorkshire terrier and a chihuahua some day..but not now! already with so many doggies and neighbours are looking at me one kind! MIn pins can be yappy...they yap a lot.

Labrador is great , too.

However, I prefer small lap top (IT savvy, now Blush

) dogs..

oreo,

you can view her picture at photo gallery.
bernese is a large breed dog. There is only 2 bernese in Pg, 1 is mine & the other one stay nearby my house. Smile

Welcome here ! I'm also from penang. my furkid is a lhasa apso mix maltese. but look more like shih tzu. never owned a dog before until this year i found Cocoa. planning to have another dog. maybe a pug, a min pin or maybe shih tzu.

HI...thanks for your welcome message..My doggie's full name is Karpophoreo...greek word meaning 'fruitfulness'. I called her Oreo for short...even my vet has a hard time writing her name on the card!

I am planning to build a web site to talk about my dogs. used to have a website talking about my fish breeding, guinea pigs, hamsters, mouse..and my beloved the late Blessing with many photos, but becos of busyness, I did not update the site for years and it got deleted by the administrator...Will rebuild the site again when I am free...which I wonder when.! Tongue
