Hello! I have a very naughty 3 mths old shih tzu and grooming him myself is a total nightmare . Won't stop bitting my fingers. Anyone know of a good groomer around Cheras or Pudu area? Slightly farther also ok as long as they handle furkid gently..Thanks a bunch..

I also send my toy poodle to this shop for grooming, actually i purchased my furbabe from this shop too. The service is quite good, and lots of shih tzu groomed there.

I'll go check it out soon. I also found a cheap place to groom furkid but haven't tried yet so can't say whether good or not. They charge RM 25 for trimming, bathing, clipping and ear cleaning. It's a pet shop at Tmn. Pertama few doors away from KFC facing the Jalan Cheras highway. Just before where the old Cheras toll was before it was removed.

Hi Karen,
Thanks for the info. After a few bad experiences at the grooming parlours, I found out that cheap is not always good with the expenses of my dog . Hopefully the one u mentioned is exceptional. But most ppl will agree that Wow Wow Meow Meow is the best in grooming. Cheers!!

Guess i'll send furkid to pudu then. Don't want him to have a bad 1st experience! My friend said that there is a groomer in Imbi (Jalan Utara i think) that did a very gd job with his Miniature Schnauzer. But I think the charges are a little bit expensive (RM 100)....but his furkid did look very handsome after the grooming.

there is one grooming shop around leisure mall area..
soli i forget road name coz i'm not local people.
the shop name is called JS pet saloon...
good service and the price is reasonable.....i think they expert in shih-tzu and schnauzers..coz few time i went there i can c many cutie shih-tzu n schnauzer..

remember dun go to the pet shop w the name 'paws avenue' at tmn segar, also near leisure mall
i hv a very bad experience there when i brought my dog grooming there,
first the enviroment is dirty some more the groomer not experience enough, they even drop my dog fr the grooming table n blame my dog naughty. the boss said it is very common for dog fall off the table during grooming,( my dog fall upside down )
ask me not to take it so serious!!!!!!
while my dog was grooming , i'm observing the place, the front of the shop is ok, but behind u can notice it is very dirty..
and 1 of the puppy (for sale) keep on vomitting, n they just take it lightly

Hello there! Well they charge RM 100 for full grooming (whole body, ear cleaning, nail trimming, etc) and RM 50 for trimming (slight trimming whole body, facial trimming, paw trimming, ear cleaning, backside and under belly trimming)....they do a great job and I highly recommend them. Boi Boi is very naughty and it's so difficult for me to give him a trim but the lady there has her ways and she does a fabulous job.

hello karen, there is another very good and reasonable priced groomer at taman connaught, cheras. its called the little pet shop. my family and i send our dogs (ms, westie, poddle, shih tzu as well as bichon) there for grooming regularly. i find that their prices are reasonable (rm60-80) and they always do a good job . we used to bring our dogs to renee at imbi but once we found this place since its nearer, we have not gone any where else.
