Hi jesslynlim, Sorry to read your posting, it very sad to read of your dog's behaviour. In a case of this sort I know a fair few friends, they would just put the dog down but again these are people who goes for comformity shows. Still not very certain about your dog, if he goes for everyone then you should try taking him out to meet people friends at a nuetral place for him. First get a very good friend who knows of your dog's problem, initially meet up and just make it sit while you have a conversation with your friend and watch what it does, and if it shows aggression, correct it instantly with a thug and command "NO" and then see what happen next. If it works you have to keep doing it for a while before you do it at the apartment. Again, if it does go well, at the apartment when the door bell goes, again on a leash, make it sit before opening the door, then greed your guest and see. Do remember, dogs have very short term memory so you need to do it all the time until it is second nature to him. Please also use a choke collar during this training stint. the normal belt type collar is useless only for cosmetic purposes. If your dog does well always praise it with either treats or really good pat, make it an issue so it realise it has done well. If you are also scared of your dog that is if it growls at you when you reprimand it, then you better get someone else to do this training. Sorry, but this is the best I can do for you and good luck.
