No problem, there are another way and it is supplements but awfully expensive great for maintenance but for now lets just get your Dalmatian cleared up. Oh, another thing de-tox your dog with Apple Cider Vinegar, a tea spoon in it's food once a day does the job well.
We'll what exactly are you looking for? What type of accomodations to you stay in? There are too many variables. But we will start with the basics.
Also, you can get a dog owners book. Something that talks about all dogs and not just one breed. I got one of those long ago before I considered getting my Doberman as I wanted to find out all the information I could on Large breed dogs. I didn't decide what breed to get then. All I knew was that I wanted something large. It was very helpful.
Cheers and all the best in finding a dog...
If you want something small sized and easy to look after, I can suggest a Pug.
Yup, of course I remember you. We we're supposed to meet at once for Jungle Trekking or something but then we never got to .
Anyway, glad to see your dog is still doing we'll. Remember that Doberman's are highly sensitive pets. They get depressed easily. So lots of love, daily exercise (yes everyday atleast once) and mental stimulation as well as socialisation are needed.
They are not an easy breed to look after compared to smaller toy dogs, but for large breeds, If you give them the essentials, they are such a good breed. Also, they are highly intelligent and loyal k9s...
Cheers and thanks for your post and pics.
Use a special material muzzle if your dog is snappy and temperemental around people and other animals and cool her down and use proper tactics. You will have to research that up, there is too much to print here.
That's all for now and look forward to meeting you.... at last....haha
Been crazy...exams non stop. ack. Once tht's all over,i'll definitely go JT. Do u go both Sats & Sundays?
Hazel's definitely sensitive..not much needed for her to listen ,a loud "no!" n she stops wtv it is she's doing.
She seems to do very well with people tho. Very manja & unlike the standard lol. Guests would stop by & we'd hv a chat a garden. Hazel would go up to the stranger, sniff here & there n then lean up close or put her head on their lap.A real sweet heart she is. I think she's a golden retriver at heart.
Just thought, I let you doberman members in this thread know, my dob manage to attain 3rd Placing in the Pre-Novice and Novice class of M.K.A. Obedience Trail held over the week-end. We did not do well enough mainly due to my handling of the dog and not the dog not working. I entered two dogs, my weimer and dob but my weimer did not qualify because she broke her "sit-stay" position due to my nervous body moment. It was fun and do hope you guys get into it. The dogs I know and seen like Surind and realitydreamer, no issue doing well in the Pre-Novice. You guys must get into the act.

My OB dog, believe it or not would be my BM. My dobe is way too nervous to do any sort of work outside. It would take tonnes of socialization to get her to a competition level. For now,she will be a pet. I might gv it a go someday though. Her OB is fast which I like but her nervousness is such a turn off. You might see me in the ring with my BM or shepherd tho. ,-._,-. \/)"(\/ (_o_)

Thanks and how is your dalmatian doing? Do hope is coming along. I just realise a lot of folks are spending money on training their dogs but no one ever participate in competition well at least the pre-novice as it is only basic training. It also indicate how one's dog behave in public and this great place to meet with other dog owners but it is a very poor turn out. I have seen some fairly good dogs at puppy.com during their training sessions but not thing turn up or if they did it was a really poor example. Well just hope owners would participate.
Looking forward to it but if you decide to change your mind, still like to meet up with you and compare notes on dog care. Do give me a call when in K.L.
Hi Colin, My lil shepherd, call name "Axel" (finally after so long we decided on a name) is doing great. Loves chewing feet & is outgoing Thanks for asking ,-._,-. \/)"(\/ (_o_)

Nice pic, I can't help myself laughing at his cute look. Did you test the pup yourself ? Finally got yourself a working mongrel huh ? What you intend to use him for ? Think he is growing to be a sable colour may be dark sable. What do you think ?
wow, nice pup u got there. that's my first peek on eros' pup. the only news i got from the pups is from michael. not bad... does axel look like the one michael chose or jason's? heard jason's boxer is in bad shape... any improvement on the skin? my apbt got this skin problem as well. went to the vet for scrape test and lucky enough it's not mange. still on antibiotics... hey looks like most of the group has a working gsd. now u guys can be the handler instead of the helper. michael did ask me to get 1 but my hands are pretty full with my apbt. not sure of getting a gsd yet... anyway its cool that the guys have their own dogs. what did azman say about the litters...?
- its not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog...
didn't know u have a dalmatian. how old is she/he...? what other dogs do u have? u are really a dog enthusiast huh... so u're getting a working gsd or a mal...? all dogs are good at what they are bred for. depends on what u want from a dog...

Hi Colin, Yes! Finally.lol. very excited & trying to not get my hopes up too high (like every new owner) My plan would be SchH & home protection. I will try PP..but tht I'm not so sure yet. As for his colour...I'm hoping & praying he'll follow his dad's colour. But it looks like his head is already looking like him Yup,I did test the pup. ,-._,-. \/)"(\/ (_o_)
koolfang, Now u got me real curious!! Hv I met u in person? Wht's ur name? IMO,Axel has a smaller head than Spike (micheal's) but Mike seems to like Axel's head(if I heard correctly). I don't noe y.Titus (Jason's) imo,has the biggest head. Of all 3,I think Titus will be the most popular stud. He is big & has the blockiest head (u noe the market la)...lol...he is hoping he will not grow too big. Jason's boxer unfortunately has mange but is on the road to recovery I'm not sure as I haven't got a chance to speak to him b4 he went to France to hv a holiday watching the WUSV (how nice!) ,-._,-. \/)"(\/ (_o_)
wow... cool names. guess what... i talk to mike almost everyday and i got to know the name of his dog from u... well... anyway, i should've tell u who i am. thought u knew when u greeted me in the apbt forum when i told u i know craig. anyway, yeah... wish i could have eros' pup (now that he's 2nd time wusv champ) but to be frank, i can't afford a gsd. guess me and craig's the odd ones out since we're into apbt... i gotta go up kl to meet up with u guys again. it's been quite some time. i think the last time we met was at padang merbok when azman took his black litters there. u guys starting schutzhund with the new pups soon...? padang merbok or azman's place or u guys have a new place for it... at least u guys can help each other up there. no working people here in melaka. i only manage to do puppy bite work with patch (typical dog's name). considering to get another apbt or am bulldog... pls update me on what's happening there ok... cheers...

Hi koolfang,
My Dal turned 7 last August. It is a male. GSD and Mal are fine with me. It is just that they are pricey.
lol. mike talks alot kidding. haha..i noe u more of "mike's friend" rather than craig's. hmmm...yea..price's an issue. Mayb u could try co-owning? or tht is not ur cup of tea?
haha..don't worry. U could always train ur pits for SchH I'd b more than happy to support u. If I could find an apbt with SchH potential who I can compete with,I'd b more than happy to take a pit over a gsd.
I've always liked pitbulls since the first time I set my eyes on them.Of course..I'm not hardcore like u guys...I don't sit too comfortably with their fighting. Not against it but it would make having more than 1 dog difficult.
Yea..it's been quite a while. Do drop by. Bring ur pup too!
We train mostly at Pdg Merbok but occasionally we go to the other guys' place. U could always move back to KL & train....
Hmm...patch...is tht a pitbull champ name? lol...i think mike names his dogs after the pit champs.."buck" & "spike"..
At the mo...the pups r just being pups.Putting in a lil OB. Not much la...still too young to do anything.
Here's a pic...they look awfully familiar... ,-._,-. \/)"(\/ (_o_)
