I did feed my shih tzu some veggie n fruits. A plum, sometimes kiwi or peach in the afternoon daily. At nite after my dinner, my papa will give it some portions of tomato or cucumber once a while. We still feed her daily dog food(biscuits) but she's picky n not very much love to eat her own biscuits. So we do give some supplement like Nutri-Cal which is a tooth paste liked gel, brown in color. She does loves it.
I did read some pet magazine said that alfalfa is good veggie choice for feeding animal. And my shih tzu did try some b4 but i didn't give it much coz dunno whether have to cook it or give it freshly. Hope that it'll give u some ideas on feeding your furkids there.
I am not sure whether doodle is fit to be fed with veggie. Will it be too raw for him? He is only 2 months old. Maybe I should wait till he is stronger. He haven't even finish his jab yet
Since that doodle is just a 2 months old puppy, better keep with its own dog food. If u really mean to feed it veggie, better wait til it's 7 months or above old. More steady condition -Bless- Ethel
