helo, im getting a miniature schnauzer puppy in AUG. Laugh

so happy. due to the pup is too small to leave his mother, the breeder said it is best to collect it in AUG. im living in pg.. and will collect my pup from kl o! long journey..... my bf said im crazy.. but i canot find any breeder at pg ma... wat to do rite? lol

it is a male, with the colour of salt and pepper. im staying in a condo. so.. anyone staying in condos / apartment. is there anything i hv to pay attention for?

residents here do keep pets. i see some of them take their pets for evening walk sometimes. so i think my condo is pet allowed. hehe. Tongue

what i have to prepare b4 getting a miniature schnauzeR? a feeding bowl? water bowl? dog shampoo? food? cage?!! toys?? wat else? Smile

where u let ur pet pee n poo? balcony? toilet? u use tray o just newpaper? o direct on the floor?!!! Unsure

i wan my pup to live in a home sweet home when he arrive at pg. Wink

Better train him paper trained...then next time he only pee poo on the newspaper...

i pay 1.2k(300 deposit paid) for the miniature schnauzer with MKA cert. im get from a breeder. the pup has big head n clear markings.. so cute~~ drooling~~

cannot wait to bring him back d. but too small la...

Actually the cage is depend on either u wanna let ur pup run in ur house o u wan him 2 b stay in the cage. As 4 my Ricky,last time when i 1stly bought him,i give him a cage but now the cage is a big big rubbish cause he more like freedom. Unsure

he like sit on the sofa.

as 4 other thing is, u need 2 buy some kind of specialise thing 2 wash his ear.Cause MS have a sensitive ear.If din clean everyday,u will end up found that ur furkid are very smelly. Pirate

beside that,ready some grooming material like the comb and etc.juz the general is ok.MS fur will look bad if u dun comb it everyday.Those like water bottle,place 2 put his food and some toys sure need 2 buy lol....if can u try buy soft toy cause they r growing teeth so like soft thing.

4got tell u 1 thing,i stay in apartment,and i am the only 1 who have a dog pet in the whole block.so very very hard.I can't let Ricky bark.cause he will wake up all the neighbour.but now he didn't bark much..mayb because he have the freedom to run where ever he wan... Unsure

Hope u got a happy early stage experience with a MS

what brand of dog food u feed ur MS? im thinking of eukanuba~~~~ wat grooming tools i hv to buy? can name me the brush? i saw many brushes in pet shop.. dunno which to choose from. Crazy

i have a female MS in my house since 09/07/2005 now she 3 month . I live in apatment also .

i fail to train she go to toilet la how ?? even i give her a newspaper out side the toilet she also dun 1 but some time she will go to toilet but just a few time only la aiyo Frown

nice to hear that you are from penang. im from penang too! where u get ur MS from? pet shop/ breeder? may i knw how much is it?! i get mine from breeder. cost me 1.2k.:P

toilet train a? im not very sure also. no exp. from wat i read from books, u can soak ur tissue paper with her poo n put the tissue at where u wan her to pee poo next time. mean while, u hv to clean the spot where she pee poo until adourless so she wont pee n poo on that spot again lo.

ur pup very notti notti... haha... but cute. (dun wan to go out) .. about toilet train. u can buy this month "PETS" magazine. got complete guide on toilet train. or u can go to the "house breaking" in this forum to ask a round.. o read up previous post.:)

im getting my pup next sunday.. oo~~ 9 days to go... seems so long~~~ cannot wait! im thinking of buying a pet carrier bag! anyone knw where can i get it? and how much? ive been to pet shops.. the price range is rm100-300. i wan to bring my pup kai kai with that shopping bag liked pet carrier. hehe..

hihi~~today i brought your pup to the vet clinic to take his first vaccination and put his microchip. The vet said everything fine and the pup is healthy.

He is not willing to stay inside the box now, he "curi curi" climbed out each time I put him inside his box. He does his business at a corner and never steps on it. Look smart uh?

anyway, i saw some bags on sale at the pet shop that's in Atria Damansara. i was doing some shopping around last weekend and saw quite a few things. from other threads, i believe they are closing down (or taken over by new management). they still have some not-so-fat-moving stuffs there on sale, inlcuding the carrying bags, i believe.

u might wanna drop by for a visit... :)

i think i will buy him a cage. for him to stay temporary before he is toilet trained! Tongue

after that, he can run freely in the house d. kekekekee...

i believe he is smart. as what you have described to me. hope to c u and him soon. do show me all your doggies. must be very very cute n sweet. Blush

helo, went to pet safari to buy him some stuff b4 i collect him. bought everything new le~ cage, comb, feeding bowl, water feeder,food and got a soft toy for him for free..cost me rm155.95

i collect him at Pj (3.30pm) lo.he is soooo cute n active. luckily i took my pet carrier there.. else..he will @.@ jump here n there..will cannot drive home liao! lol he is very kuai.. most of the time is sleeping during all the way home. but he pee when i stop by ipoh eat nga choy kai~ Crazy

luckily got newspaper... but due to the carrier too small.. his leg kena some of his pee lo~ faint~ turn into smelly dog.

when arrived home. he explore the house lo.. but very small la him.. walk oso not balance. keeping following me here n there...almost kick him. i put him on the sofa.. he climb down n fell down. he eats well and drinks well. then giv him his soft toy for him to hug in the cage. n wait until he sleep. i go to sleep oso... dun hear him crying during night time.(or i sleep dead? dunno..) thank god~~ Smile

he cried when he saw me this morning.. (wan to go out) i let him out. then i go cut my pineapples.. he play with my leg.. then i sweep the floor.. he play with my broom. then i put him in the cage. he sing(cry) in the cage lo... after moping the floor.. i let him out again.. he sit beside me... then sleep........... i put him in the cage.. he continue to sleep again..

i can go buy breakfast now.. Tongue

so far.. he knw his name, some basic commands and toilet trained. very notti la. after few days.. bcum evil piranah~~ Pirate

oh.. do view about my furkids at "me n my dog" section under bonnie, oscar and me. Blush
