There are 2 possibilities to your problem, 1) Someone is abusing your login id. There is only one level of access control, that is at the login level. One can just can your password and id and wa la...he can view everything from puppy.com under your id. Alternatively it is possible that you did not log out from your computer someone may reopen puppy.com with your logon still activated (especially if you set the "cookies" option, your password is stored in memory. This is more remote because why would someone at home read your mail behind your back? 2) The most serious security breach is that puppy.com is being hacked. At the inception, I have already highlighted that there is great potential for this first puppy related web site in Malaysia to reach a higher peak in terms of revenue generation. This is because in a short span of time, puppy.com has already established the goodwill and attracted many puppy owners. This is a gold mine for dogs related service providers and merchandiser to get contacts. But why hacked Derrick's id, that is because firstly he has such high profile and secondly information coming to him has a lot of $$$ implication. Perhaps the webmaster should monitor whether apart from Derrick's case, there are other anomalies such as interception of your web server and mail server. This could be indicated by bandwidth usage report or network assessment tools or activities such as email spamming etc (which I am not sure if there is already one). If there are signs like that, puppy.com is in deep trouble, either someone is trying to sabotage your website, or they are trying to steal your intellectual property. the forum should then consider adopting a good firewall and intrusion detection system. Meanwhile Derrick, you are advised to change your id and password immediately. For private messaging, we could deploy another layer authentication.
