First, the fastest and easiest way to check is to visit a vet of YOUR choice (not seller’s choice) and present the pup to the vet:
- ask for health check-up
- ask to scan for the microchip number
- check entries in the vaccination card (has been issued for the puppy upon his first vaccination)
- worm treatment should be registered on the same card as well
I doubt that MKA would join a fraud, so ask MKA about the breeder, his breeding history and in particular about the litter the puppy is from.
If you are interested, then you could check all ancestors from this pup as far back as the registry goes. Have fun.
Point to think about: If a breeder is giving one puppy to a much lower price then he could normally ask for, then by all means, be wary. First step: ask the breeder about his reasons.
Besides that, check carefully all of the above before making any decision.
