This is penny, the ink blotted dalmatian. She lives indoor most of the time. She is friendly with strangers and burglars alike. Can anyone help to train her for being a good guard dog?

Do you mean ... she never bark to anything? How's is her sire and dam ... in term of temperament? Please supply more information ... although off-hand, I don't have any ideas ... but may be I can get one later!!!
Many of the time, when one temperament is soft and gentle, there is just no other way you can turn them into an aggressive dog.

Not even deep fried, double boiled, steamed or stewed? Ok Leo, jokes aside. All my Dals are bred for the Showrings, as such, their tails are forever wagging and temperament wise, they are so socialable, and sweet, that no strangers are strangers to them. Everybody is their friends. Whats next?

So long we read each others mind on the line this should be fine. There are some who read above the line, and there are those who read below the line. But the worst are those in between the lines.
