Yes, seen all. I guess that all my trips to Holland would total to more then a year in Holland and I used weekends, days with less work to visit the places. But business focus did shift and my last trip to Holland was long time ago.

What are you doing there? Are you Dutch or a lucky Malaysian who found a job in Holland?

I am dutch, and lucky enough to go and live in Malaysia end of the year.

I am a housewife, married, and I fill up my time with my dog and horses, and my house of course Wink

the horses are not mine, but from a riding school near our house.

I clean the stables and I do riding.

what kind of work are you doing?

are you Malay?

I am in Malaysia for donkey years already and NO, I am not a Malaysian, I am a German and working here � GM, means that I am generally able to manage a company. Laugh

my hubby is working at the moment in Holland, Rotterdam, till the end of the year, and after that.............nothing Wink

fun and nice living, an urly retirement.

what kind of company do you try to manage?

and Malaysia......we have live there before, in Mentakab and Kuantan.

If I understand you correctly then you plan to come to Malaysia after your hubby�s assignment is over. Not a bad idea. They have a program called �Malaysia my second home� and you could enjoy your early retirement here.

I try to manage a German manufacturing/assembly plant. Crazy

The east coast is very different to the rest of the country. I lived in Kuantan before, but that was looooong ago. Later I stood in Penang, Kuala Lumpur and now in Johor Bahru.

Did you work on the BasF factorie in Kuantan?

stay in Pellindung with all the other expats?

I love the way of living of the east coast, when you want excitement, jump into your car and drive to KL, with the new highway, only 2 hours away.....OK a little bit more, but it's fast driving.

JB is a nice town too, next to Singapore, I do come a lot of times in JB.

My daughter is living in S'pore, with husband and kid, so I travel by bus from Kuantan and stop in JB.

Only the border is a crime, last time the bus driver went away into S'pore, and he left me at the border......Idiot Mad

to go with my car is not an option, I have a town car....a Kencil Cool

and with that car into S'pore....no way Tongue

Nope, I was in the power business; hence, worked at Paka Powerstation and I had a house in Kerteh. I went to Kuantan for nightlife and food.

Those days no highway to KL and it was dangerous and took 7 hours. We used to take flight instead (MAS or Pelangi).

JB is so close to S�pore but I am going more often to KL then to S�pore.

I do not like the hassle at the border; hence, do go when I have to only. I drive on my own when going for shopping or small entertainment, all other times my driver will take care.

you must have stay a long time in Kerteh Wink

where did you go? BoomBoom, or at the Hyatt....

I know the border Sing/JB is terrible, but I have to do it, to see my kids.

and lucky you to have a driver......but I don't mind to drive by myself.

how long does it take to go from JB to KL?

the next time I fly to Malaysia, I go to JB.

I bring my dog to the quarantain station at KLIA, and after that I will take the plane, or I take the bus to go to JB, my daughter pick me up from there, Than I know I will cross the border Unsure

I stay for a couple of days and on my way back I pick up my dog.
