my big dog jojo will know where exactly where to dig.. while my small pup russel sometimes will dig on the cement/tiles in my house whenever i give him a chew bone and he is too full to have it.
he will dig.. dig.. dig.. the corner (on the cement) then throw the bone there..
he will then walk away few steps and then go back again to make sure the bone is there then only he continue playing..
he is kinda weird dog... hahahaha may be too young to differentiate soil and cement..
i dont know what is the purpose he dig on my cement floor he cant hide the bone anyway..
woww... tas a really smart one there.. maybe he can patrol my house n tell me leaks too eh?? heeheheee...
my GR digs cos its hot.. soil is moist n cooling... the MS though just lovs to dig.. its cos they r bored i guess. I filled up the holes he dug but he'd find the same ol spot.. now my garden got so many potholes liao... he oso did the same on my timber strips leh... mau pengsan liao......
i guess its a normal thing for the dogs.. but any way to train them not to ka? They dont seem to wanna listen to me on this leh...

Infact, everytime I come home from work, my 3 smaller dogs will start barking .. even if they can't see me but I think they can smell... cos if it's my hubby, they won't bark... and it's really interesting.
or better still like our younger days we always read about the harta karun in island and all that... sure we will become ruch man... if u can train ur dog to do that.
kinki just loves to dig holes all around the garden. after i found out about the new hole, i'll scold her and beat her backside, but she seems not to understand my words, coz she'll continue her digging activity the next day.
what should i do? any advise?

Dog loves to dig. Mine still does it and it seems to be their favorite passtime. I don't mind it but if you seriously does then I guess you should read page 1 of this thread on Tohcs (Cheng See's reply) it might provide useful tips for you to train your kinki good luck ya !
It sounds so nice to me...because your dog listens to your command whereas my dog doesn't...even though I say DIG!! She wouldn't understand and what she would do is to run and mess up and run and mess up and ask me to run after her. :P
