Hi,
Just wondering if the trail's very difficult. I know it's too much for 8 week old Sparkle, but if it's not too bad do you think it's advisable for me to carry him while we walk? Not sure if he's too young to be taken out.
But that playful rascal would be truly happy if he gets to meet so many other furry friends!

Hi cshellz,
8 weeks is a bit too young to take Sparkle out....especially since he hasn't had all his shots yet....certain parts of the trail is quite steep especially going downhill....the journey takes about 2 hours so carrying a dog for 2 whole hrs is going to be tiring .....hey but u can still join us if u want even if you don't bring your dog....Ming Yang is coming without her min pin too

its better dun bring you dog out yet as he is still too young. Mine is 3 months old now and I try not to bring him out too much except to the vet coz I dun want her to get infected with the distemper virus which travels thru air. Its more advisable to bring you dog out abt 6 months old.
Come and join also lar... I wont be bring my dog too just go and mix around and have some nice fun being the mozzy's breakfast !

Hi Minglmy and Jason,
Will definitely be there provided my Ching Ming visits are over by then. Dunno about you guys but after hearing about the mosquitoes, I'm gonna to wear long pants. Not sure whether Sharon is keen on treking thru the jungle trail even if it comes with free mudbaths and mosquitoes delights ...
Will update you guys once things firm up with this Ching Ming period. Now which schnauzer should I bring? Lee Sha or Lee Ron?

Sounds like fun... if I don't have any horse show or horsey event that morning I'll come along... might bring Luckey, but it will still be within Brinkley's recovery period though, so she'll have to miss out on the fun or maybe sharon and i can stay on the civilized road huh ?

I will try to make it if work duties don't call on that day!! Yeah, you are right, Sparkle is a tad bit too young for it. But I asked my bf to bring his rottie, Bizkit and he's thinking about it...
He says not sure can even 'kau tim' himself on the trail or not....have to take care of Bizkit summore. hehe

Hi Arthur, the mosquitoes aren't as bad as mentioned. Just that some have sweeter and tastier blood than others But certain part of the trail is really challenging especially when decending. Hope to see you and the rest there. cheers

Well, try to make it as I hope to see you there ! The trail is ok... I have not been having much exercise lately and yet still manage to walk for almost 2 1/2 hrs that day. So its not soo bad. its a slow walk nothing like running all the way up so, no need to worry so much. make sure wear sneakers though...

Hi
The idea of another outing is really appealing and 7.30 am shouldn't be too hot so maybe my two powder puffs could make it ... but ... the idea of mud is a little off-putting. Is it really muddy? Do you know how much work there is in bathing and blow drying a Bichon? I'm torn.

There is only a small section when we go down hill where it was slightly muddy. Those went with sport shoe were all OK. Then was a few weeks ago when we are still in raining season.
We have not seen rain for the past few days and I think the soil there should be as hard as rock when we take on our next Jungle Trekking.
