Puppy 6 weeks Got Worms - Help Can't Post

Hi all,

My puppy just bought last week (only 6 weeks old) has a lot of worms in his stool. The worm is as long as 10cm. Went to vet and got some deworm tablet. His stomach is pot bellied ( i mean not the vet but the puppy). The vet only gave little bit of heartguard, yellowish cream and half a tablet - that's all he gave and the worms came out from the puppy.

I'm worried that the puppy may have more worms. Can I give him Dontral since he is a puppy? Does Dontral kill all worms?

Will worms infect people? I heard some worms carried by the dogs is harmful to people? Can anyone advise on this? I don't the disease to spread to children in my house.

Pls advise. Thanks.
