It seem that DK eats dog. If you are going to board your Holli at DK place, you will have to think a million time.

BTW, I saw your name at the Koi Forum. What are you doing there ? For your info, to keep your fish alive for a long time is easy. All you need is good water. All of us has a big sewerage treatment plant that recycle our pond water to keep it in tip top condition Smile

Not all the fish breed is difficult to keep. But some of them "YES". I do kept couple of tanks of the fish breed call "Discus". But now is given away. Not a single discus is kept . Their price is quite high and they come in variety of the kind. This fish can easily get disease either from the excess food, water condition & bla bla bla....

I think I should stop here or other wise I'll kena because this is dog & puppy forum...hehehe Smile

And yeah i'm coming on Sunday...

carry on carry on my good friend fish, dogs, cats, or birds, what differences does it make, as they are all pets. Eventually we will still be going back to dogs, because you cannot take a fish for a walk, cats are never on a leash, birds will fly away. So, dogs are still the choice.
Talking about discus, you haven't mentioned about ph and temperature of water. So please give more details. This dalmatian also keep ikan eh!

Re: [Derrickok] Photographs taken during the Doggie Parade [In reply to] Can't Post

OK....for the water condition for most of my discus I keep the water ph at 5.8 to 7.0 . But they still can live healthy in a tank that have the ph up to 8.6 but at this ph rate, the spawning is not able. While for the temparature, for Heckle type the tank temparature is more higher than other type of the discus. It is around 89 degrees while for other type like blood pigeon, blue diamond, snake skin and others, the temparature at 82 degrees will do for them. To control the water ph, you can use something call "Ph Down Ph Up" and to control the temperature simply a controlable heater that come in a rod shape.

Mmm..to breed discus, some of them is quite harder to breed like blue diamond and the wild type Heckel. The egg will hatch in the water condition that is softer. A harder water can be soften using "RO", that is the reverse Osmosis.

Oh yeahh..forgot to tell, I will suck out 20% of the water and replace it with fresh clean water & around 70% to 80% weekly.

Well I think that's all for my discuss sharing, just ask me if you want to know more....Rainbow hope this will help you up a bit in DISCUS.
