What an outing this was ! First of all, almost everyone was late due to parking constraints due to lots of city folks that wake up early for walks! (Gina, we are very proud of you !)
Everyone was waiting round, trying to keep the furkids out of the joggers way and curious stares..Most reacting kindly with smiles , some frowned and looked annoyed. Then..a tall figure came stridiing down the trail..Look..it's a bird? It's a plane? NO..it's ALPHA Jenn and Treo!
She came, she saw and she lead the way up...
The weather was fantastic..cooling and refreshing..especially deeper inside the trail in the forest area...
Finally..we had our group picture taken..with 2 horses at the back for good luck measure! 'nuff said.
For more pictures..check out the forum picture gallery..
It was a fun day all in all... Rdgs Arthur..(CY..yr nasi lemak was very good!Thks!)
haha yah it was VERY early for me but it was well worth it coz i got to touch a horse, breathed the fresh air of KL, ate CY's delicious nasi lemak (thanks CY!) and saw 2 other JRTs there as well!
So...when is our next walk? Are we going into the jungle this time?
Wei....Gina, wait for me....i wanna join, but not srue can walk all the way up or not leh.

Our next walk will come pretty soon and before we fix any date, please get Biscuit ready and make sure he is fit to lead the whole group through the jungle.
That's facinating! That's definately smashing or what?? A horse leading a bunch of cuties.... tht's really amazing, r the duo also the forum members here? i love horse too, they r just so handsome, pretty n symbolise energy!
Very nice pictures taken, cheers to the photographer (is it u arthur? )
Boon no problem sure can make it wan....if u hv hiked up Air Itam dam or even the first point of Pg Hill then this will not be a problem....much easier lar....so get your walking shoes and Tarzan suit ready for the next walk coz we're going into the jungle!!!

The other JRT was very cute eh? The one with one eye patch of brown colour.. Looks like a little pirate!
As for the jungle trek..we will have to explore it first to see if the trail is suitable and safe for the furkids. You'll probably hv to forgo the shorts if the trail has leeches..Yikes!

Jason and I checked out the jungle trek and it looks real good....i shd think it's very safe for our furkids...the trail is like any other hiking trail in Pg that i've been to.....the path is big enough to walk on without having to brush against any bushes or leaves so it will be fine....and it's hot season now all the leeches are hibernating ....jungle trekking will be much nicer compared to walking on tar roads....it's not as monotonous and i'm sure our furkids will enjoy it more.....so how about it? Shd we set a date? Maybe a Saturday morning?
By the way, the jungle trek is not so taxing on the paws. The furkids would love it. My doggy kept wanting to explore further in. Lets make it the next Saturday?
