Bring Dog into Malaysia Can't Post

hi guys,

could anyone advise how do i bring my grey hound adult (female/ spayed) into Malaysia?

She's a rescued dog ( that was used for racing) so not i do not have her puppy history but have all vet papers since this year .

What are the procedures and "restrictions" that i have to abide to? do the authorities need to quarantine my dog? if yes, how long and if the period could be shorten? Dog is in uk now.

help appreciated.

Hi Rosann,

1st of all I have not done any import of dogs before but i found a link for you which I think will be very useful in getting more info on how to bring pets into malaysia by the Department of Veterinary Services of Malaysia.

It have a page on all the FAQ's, how to import, quarantine time, requirement time, entry point clearance, import regulations, applications for import permits, quarantine station points n etc....

Good luck and tell us how it goes ya...
