Golden Retriever- shedding	Can't Post

My 2 month old golden retriever puppy already shedding his coat. Whenever I hug him my clothes are full of white/cream hairs. Whenever I clean the floor I get a lot of fur balls too. Is there anywaY I can make that stop, and how can I make his coat shinny and don't smell a lot. Thanks. I love him so much but my husband is to icky about dogs hair. Which brush is good. Its my first time to have long hair dog. My last one was a dachie.
