I am a new owner of a Labrador Retriever and keep her in the house with access to the outside where she can do her pees or whatever.
But so far she has not been able to find her way downstairs to go outside during the night. I have to get up and take her.
I am considering leaving a light on for her all night so that she can see her way around.
Although she is 4yrs old she is not used to living indoors, having lived on a farm where she was used for breeding guide dogs. She , like me , is on a big learning curve but is adapting very well to her new evironment.
