hello everyone,
my name is Randi Chiah and i chanced upon this website. my fascination is also on pets, particularly dogs. i am a proud owner of 2 boxers, a male (Castro) and a female (Jojo).

currently i am conducting a marketing research on pet food. well, i am a student undertaking a degree in Business Marketing and in fulfillment of the degree, i must perform a research. i chose pet food to be the topic of my study as i am really interested to know why pet owners buy premium pet food (such as Eukanuba, Science Diet, Pro Plan etc) for their pets.

the reason why i'm explaining all this is because i will need the help of all you dog owners to help me in answering some questionnaires. erm, are u guys willing to help me out? pleaseeeee....??? i will need your e-mail addresses so that i can mail the questionnaires to you. however, at this point, i am still in the midst of preparing the questionnaires, so it may take bout 2-3 weeks b4 i will mail it to you.. i need as many respondents as possible as my sample size is 200 respondents.

Your help is so greatly appreaciated. if you guys are agreeable to help me out, then post a reply.

i'm so delighted that you guys are so helpful!

one thing though, any idea how i am able to be able to reach the other members? i have browsed around the site and i see alot of members here who replies to many diff topics but if they do not read my 1st introductory msg, how am i to reach them? any ideas?

oh anyway, if it's not too troublesome, can u guys pls tell me specifically what brand(s) of pet food you feed your pets? any feedbacks regarding that particular pet food? something like how much u spend per month on pet food, is there any improvement to your pet's coat, teeth and general health, etc etc...

i used to have a spitz too... her name was JC. she really was a very obedient and wonderful pet. i kept her for 9+ years but she died in 2001. that day she died, i was right beside her watching her struggle for that last breathe. mum and i cried real hard. she was really a gem of the family.

everyday, when i walked home from skewl, she'd be waiting for me at the front gate, knowing that i'll be home around that time to take her for her 'kai-kai'. Usually, after putting my bags down, i'd turned to her, give her that cheeky look, and whisper 'hang kai' and immediately her jumps around frantically and her tail wags and spins happily.

ahhh, these memories are etched forever...

tell me bout ur pet.

yeah, it's a schnauzer ... hrmmm, you know what ... if you wanan know more about schnauzer you should ask Arthur .. he's the expert of schnauzers here !! so if you ask him you'll get more accurate answer ...
well, i bought my male one for 1300 ... hrmmm , my schnauzers are really really palyful and sometimes they're a real rascal !!! it's high maintenance as you need to groom them regularly ... and so on ... =) wanan know more about the tmeperament, ask arthur ... the MS expert !

Oh, I see. . .your interest in me reading your post was for shameless self promotion, LOL. . . just kidding!

Well, I feed my boys Eukanuba and spend about $50 per month on it. Although if I could, I would feed them B.A.R.F. (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) My youngest pup was fed it until he came home with me. I just don�t have enough refrigerator or freezer space to store it, though.

Popular dog foods contain too many fillers that are unhealthy for our dogs, and it is not stuff they would eat in nature (ie- corn meal, beat pulp, etc.) It fills the dogs up, but has little nutritional value.

LOL. . .Jack Russels are just as spirited as my APBTs, if not more!!!

You've gotta love the terriers!!!! Some of the Jack Russels I know can jump up as high as my head!! I'm only 5'2" tall, but that's QUITE a way for a Jack Russel to jump! Cool
