Hi there, If all the other techniques offered don't work, try this: use the leash...leash her up. Gv her the sit command. Then a treat. Later gv the stay command. Make sure you are close enuf so that she will not struggle against the leash(since she's young pup and would want to be with u)..she may get up and realize that there's a leash and she can't move further. We do NOT want her to struggle, panic and get stressed. Key to OB training is to make everything a game. Anyway, back to the leash. Use that,gv her the command and she will realize she cant do much. Make it maybe 2-3 seconds or however u want, but make sure it's short. Then reward her. Increase the time to say maybe...5-7 seconds. Once at that level change the leash to a very light string. Gv her the sit commamd. Reward her. Gv her the stay command. Make her stay 2-3 seconds and reward her. Increase the time.Once that is solid,u can take it to another level. Try,with the light string...just tie it to her collar but dont tie it at the pole/place where she's tied to. And then repeat the process. The objective is to trick the dog that the leash is still on and she can't move. If she does, then start over. After getting that part solid, try repeating the process without the string. Basically, what we're doing is tricking her with the leash and string and slowly letting her get used from a "heavy" leash where she would realize that she's leashed up to a light string where it's not so obvious, progressing to nothing at all while teaching her the concept of "stay". All the best. ,-._,-. \/)"(\/ (_o_)
