Menstruating dogs	Can't Post

Hi,

I have a Terrier Mix, and she is now 9 months plus. She just began menstruating yesterday... and I was wondering is there anything that i should do during this period (mind the pun) ?

In addition, how many times does a dog menstruate and how long does it last?

Most dogs come into cycle every 6 months but this might vary according to your breed. It usually lasts for 21 days.
