I guess quite a few of u guys know there is a lil pet accessories shop in Atria, Damansara Jaya... the same shop has since expended and is now set to open with a cafe... so guys & gals, we have a new hang out place now... I am sure they allow us to bring our furkids coz the shop owner also bring his along... it's a poodle... I think they are opening in early October...

Everytime I go there, the owner's poodle is in the shop... this new cafe, is situated in the same floor(1st floor) but near an entrance via the carpark... so I guess if we were to bring furkids there, we take that entrance and go into the shop... not walk all over the place... the owner do take hid poodle out the normal entarance though...

Hi Mary Anne,
According to Mr Yap, he does not plan to have 'dog cafe' but instead it will be a cafe for pet lovers to socialise and he have told me that he would put his poodle Awana in the boutique instead of the cafe due to hygenic issue. So guess its not a cafe as everyone have expected.....
Do take note that the management does not allow dogs in the vacinity of the whole complex other than the shop.

hahahaa yea tell me abt it, i was so happy seeing the place with the word 'cafe' then after going down n talking to the tau keh mr yap then only he told me... its not a 'pet cafe' as expected but juz a socialisation cafe for pet lovers ! i think if u were there with me that time rite... u can hear my heart drop liao !
they told me is that as they have a boutique and most of the time their customer tends to hang around before buying or after therefore instead of standing n talk they have a cafe so that all can sit down, he make some drinks and can chat in a more friendly enviroment
U are right..if that is not a pet cafe then nothing so special about it.I've been to the shop too and the boss also told me the same thing and I thought it is a pet cafe that i can bring my furkid there...so dissapointed lar. But I don't blame him coz I know is impossible to get approval for a pet cafe in this country. Dogs Lover

hahaha..good question. There is one thing make me really mad is most of the park in our country even has a sign board stated - Dogs not Allowed but u can see the cats running here and there...sigh...I think is totally unfair. Dogs Lover

Yeah... but then again its M'sia... where the goverment usually find the easy way out rather than actually solve the problem...
I mean, stopping us from bringing our dogs to parks with the excause of dogs littering the parks with poo is real lame excause... if they REALLY want to keep the parks claen, then DO something about it... get some action on the road... if the ppl do not take the dogs to parks, they still take them around the housing areas to poo... so u see, all they have succeeded in doing is only divert the poos to another place...
I am sure if they were to just use a lil' of their brains, they can think of a better way like poo bags and someone to make sure the ppl do use the bags... its not like as if we live in the dark ages when ppl do not know what t do... in some cases, they simply need someone to show them and for those who are still in the dark ages finding it hard to catch up with time (do not know how to use a doggie bag), they shud be force to do so... they are the ones who have to pay and not everyone who owns a doggie just becoz the few who do not know how...

Hallo Ladee... remember me in Dogster? I had talk with few pet shop also... Malaysia hard to get license for pet cafe la... Though me n my friend brought our doggie to Mt kiara's Bazaar on Sunday and also the Coffee Bean and starbuck there.... So far is ok la as long as not sitting in the aircon places.

Yeah... the gov are not very nice to doggies... I've been to MT Kiara Coffee Bean too & seen ppl bringing furkids there... its a nice place too... its just sad & weird to have ppl opening a pet cafe but not allowing pets!!!

Actually even no cafe but if we got heart we can set a place doing pot luck and have a gathering. I even imagine to buy a swimming pool (u know those from TOY 'r" US, haha) to welcome friends to my house to swim swim together... wahaha
Its what the Poodle gang have been doing for the past one year... we will have small gethering at a member house... usually makan makan & let he furkids socialize & play together... its really fun & nice... have quiet a few close pals since we started the group... hope u can join us... we'll be meeting again for the first time this year 2005, on the K9 Day at Central Park, Bandar Utama... its on the 9 January this comming Sunday

Seems they sell stuff very expensive... that shop is one of our member most disliked place... u hop over to grooming & have a look... scary news about the stuff they do to furkids...
yeahh i do think that the stuff they sell is quite $$$ nice to see but when see the price i wan pengsan... but i do think their carry bag if nice leiii ....
HAHA, long time no c... PET ANGEL cafe open at the end!! But onli can bring small breed coz can carry up. And also better dun leave on the floor... they got lot of drink but less food... imrpoving la... just open a week time. Price ok...
