I hear that lotsa ppl are suggesting the Golden Retriever. Yes they are wonderful dogs and I have a Labrador myself. They are very easily trained as they aim to please. But please take into consideration other factors. Is your compound or area large enough for such a large dog. They also need a lot of exercise and will possibly be destructive when bored. Large dogs will also tend to dig gardens and bite shoes when ignored/bored. So instead of focusing only on which dogs are easiest to train, do look into whether your house and area is suitable for such a pet. Smaller dogs can also be trained easily and as with all dogs they all need time and effort. Does not happen overnite. :) Good luck with your pup search! Buy from a breeder not from a pet shop.
