Cold or Hot Water during bathing? Can't Post

I was just wondering which is best for Aust. Silky Terrier? uses Hot or Cold water when bathing... any recommendation?

Hi liza, I not sure for Jaz. But for me i think the weather is cold or water temperature too low i will let them bath with warm water.

Me too...i bathe my dog with hot water....when we first moved here and havent had the water heater installed and i bathed him with cold water, he was shivering and he even gave small little cries coz the water was too cold....for young puppies especially, warm water will work best.

Thanks for the reply! so i guess warm water it is from now on then.. what i was afraid of that there could be some effect on thier long coat... perhaps warm or cold would make any difference.

i have checked with vet before. They told me it is fine. So far, Jumanji's coat is beautiful and growing longer each day. Wink

oh! that's really good to know. do you give Jumanji any vitamins or supplement to ensure the coat doesn't look too dry and stay healthy?
