Hello everyone, my name is Lena, and me and hubby live in Singapore with our beloved dogs, a 3.5yr chihuahua named Ma-le and a mini schnauzer called Shiraz. I have uploaded her picture ( was 7 wks plus ). Today, Shiraz turns 9 weeks and has finally learned not to bite Ma-le's tail. Shiraz is also a very fast learner, much faster than Ma-le. Hwer, she can have her own mind and choses when to listen and when not to.
Hi Lena, Welcome to the forum. Greeting from Penang.

Welcome to the forum . I owned an 8 months old male Schnauzer, Yippi. Ya, Schnauzer is a fast learner. My trainer told me that Schnauzer is one of the breed that easy to train.
Thanks for the welcome messages and I am very thankful to have found this site. It is very informative on EVERYTHING about dogs. When we were bringing Ma-le up, we struggled with training and house-breaking using infor from books (led to some human and dog confusion, depending on which book) and with invaluable help from friends. This web-site has made it much easier.......because all gurus here give common sense, and tried and tested advice. Last 2 nites, we corrected Shiraz's barking quite well. A BIG thank you to all the gurus on this website.
hi Shiraz, nice to meet u !! i own chihuahua, shitzu and JRT. Now a day Singapore is it famous with chihuahau?? cos i could like to buy a chihuahua from there?? TQ!! ~~~ AsHLeY ~~~
Strange that you mentioned it. My girlfriend smuggled her chiwawa from JB thru the customs. Having said that, i understand that there is a good breeder from Singapore. You can look at the Singapore chiwawa site at Leica. She has won many titles and is from that good breeder. Mine was actually from a pet farm (actually puppy mill), she has her faults, BUT, i dun care and LOVE her to bits !!!
