New Goldie onboard	Can't Post

Hello,

I'm Gen and I just love this website. I have been surrounded by dogs since birth as my dad use to show & breed some of them. Throughout the years, my family have had Poms, Dobbies, GSDs, Daschunds, Bull Terriers but not all at the same time, of course! Right now, we have 3 Golden Retrievers, a pair of beagles & a mongrel sharing our home. Unfortunately, they are back in my hometown with my parents & I can't keep any of them here because I live in an apartment. You guys are so lucky to be able to have your furry companions living with you.

Hope to make some doggy-minded friends here and learn lots.

Wah, we are practically neighbours! My hometown is Taiping, which I personally think is the centre of the universe. Where you can take your dogs out for walks at the Lake Gardens without being hassled.

I live in an apartment as well, actually a condo but I do keep a shih tzu. I think as long as the dogs don't make too much noise the management won't disturb you that much. But I guess GR and Beagles are not apt friendly as compared to shih tzus....

Yes. But it is best to avoid weekend evenings between 4-6pm as the paths are quite congested. Some of the special people are actually quite decent. I have actually heard them teaching their kids not to be frightened by the dog, but just avoid touching it.

Another downside to walking the dog during those hours, everyone wants to stop you and play with the dog - very frustrating for the poor dog who was looking forward to a good brisk walk/run.

Oh, u r from Taiping, which is about 45 minutes to an hour drive from penang. Is pretty near i might add. Tongue

My family and relatives and neighbors all love him very much too!

You mean dog-show? I wish too.... but he hasn't register to MKA, and not been to any training class. I'll plan from now on. First, really need to get MKA cert then plan to be a breeder Tongue
