Boarding Can't Post

Hi! I have two dogs, shihtzu and west highland terrier. Whenever I make a trip back to Malacca every fortnightly, they will be joining me as well. The problem is that back hometown, I have a Rottweiler and Mastiff (coming soon). Therefore, if I were to bring them back for long holidays, I might have problems with my jealousy dogs. Would appreciate if you gals/guys out there could recommend me good boarding centre with spacious area for them to play and run coz they don't like to be caged. I am planning for a long vacation soon so I hope I could find a place for them.

Cheers! Smile

Hello doogydoggie,
I am sure that this is your username.
We do know of places, where your shih tzu and higland terrier will be well cared and received first class accommodations.
Perhaps you would like to visit our members' introduction section first and tell us who you are, and what you do for a living etc etc.
Once we have established that, we will give you all the details you required, otherwise are we corresponding with a doogy or a doggie?
It is not compulsory, it is a matter of common courtesy.
Regards.

Re: [Rainbow] Boarding [In reply to] Can't Post

The dogs are 4 and 3 years old. In Malacca, when we brought back this puppy rottweiler, they barked and almost attacked the poor puppy. And my neighbour has 3 other dogs, well one day the gate was opened, and the terrier just charged to the compound and had a fight with the spitz. All of us panicked. Thanked god there were few men around to separate them. The ShihTzu especially, never allows me to go near to any dogs. There was once that I quiet playing with the rottweiler in the cage, the ShihTzu just ran towards the rottweiler and bit its leg... Well, to me that sounds jealousy. I alwiz bring them back to socialise with my Malacca dogs but then sometimes, I am just afraid that one of them might get hurt in the end. Thatz why I prefer not to send them to a pet shop for boarding coz it will be very noisy and this will make them feel insecure.

Sounded more towards possessive rather than jealousy.
Anyone sending a dog to Petshop or clinic for boarding is only doing it as the last resort. Walk into any pet shop and observe how the puppies/dogs are being caged up in a 2x2x2 iron crates. They sleep, eat and shit there. Do you think that the animals are being taken out for walks and exercise? Dream on, if you believe so.
They don't call him a Terrier for nothing you know.
Anyway, I am impressed with your Tzu & Highland.
Regards.

Simple. When the old dog bark, the dalmatians will have to rush for coverSmile
