Indigestion Can't Post

I realise that my dog can only digest kibbles, everytime I give her moist dog food (or even brown rice mixed with kibbles), she would vomit it out. This is definitely not normal? How can I enhance her digestive system? She is one year old.

Thanks & regards,

Pat

I feel that your dog is not quite suffering from indigestion rather than food rejection.
A dog will have indigestion, if it is overfed; if it eats the food with gusto, gulping it down in one go without even taking a breather.
She cannot be taking moist dog food and vomit and when you mixed brown rice with kibbles and she also vomit.
I suggest that you begin with tiny-winie portion first and slowly introduce larger quantity into her feed and see what happens.

I don't know about the scabbies problem. But let me tell you something first. The attitude of our present society in this rat-race environment is didak-apa. All they see is the RM sign on their left eye and the sen sign on their right eye. Some will only see the RM sign on both eyes.
It is strange indeed that the first vet you went to took blood sample instead of scrapping from the affected area and examined it under the microscope.
To be cont/

Part.2. continuation:
Assuming that this second vet you went to has pinpointed the skin problem, I suggest you adhere his method of treatment. No point in seeking a third and fourth opinion. Follow his treatment for a week or so and see if there is any improvement.
If you wish, I could provide you with some information on Scabies, so that your next visit to the vet, he may think twice before he takes you for a ride.
The medical term for the type of scabies contracted by your dog is known as SCARCOPTIS MANGE. It is caused by a mite. When this mite is examined under a microscope, it has a distinctive shape of a crab. Dermodex mite resemble that of a prawn, and fungus looks like a cigar with a tail. Scabies is by far the easiest to treat as compared to Dermodex. Buy a tube of "ASCABIOL" (trade name) from any chemist and apply twice or three times daily.
Wait until after the CNY and see what is the outcome of the treatment. All my dogs are being treated at Animal Medical Centre in Subang Jaya by a Dr.Nathan an elderly vet with donkey year's of Veterinary experience. The telephone number is 03-56369008. Mention DerrickKok he will give your dog special treatment and special price(downward not upward).
I hope you are happy with this info.
Regards.

Dear Derrick,

Thank you for your comprehensive info. As usual, you are always helpful. I will observe her condition under the current medication and will keep all posted of her progress after CNY.

Regards,

Long winded is more apt than comprehensive. Helpful?, I am not so sure myself, as you might have noticed that I always make fun at someone's expense at the end of a message.
Why after CNY & not during? Balik Kampong?
What about your WoWo? I do provide boarding facility.
Regards.

Her condition is not getting better but worse. She is really suffering. I can tell by how disturbed she is by the itchiness. The second vet told me to visit him for another jab and I was planning to do so right before/during CNY. Now I am not very sure if I should follow up with the same doctor. He charged a whopping RM70 for a jab and antibiotics! Seems a lot of difference from your vet!!

I am local, so not baliking kampung. Boarding sounds good. Am considering climbing mount kinabalu for a week. If so, I will check your place out.

Regards,

Patricia

P/S: On you poking fun at others? You sound more like a nasty lawyer than me!

This is getting more and more ridiculous than my jokes. RM70 for consultation and a jab? DK the Dalmatian specialists will most probably be laughing to the bank for RM15.00
I honestly don't believe that itchiness and skin diseases is that great an issue and it cannot be cured. It is a matter of identification!!!
Since you are local, why don't you make an attempt to visit Animal Medical Centre in Subang Jaya and talk to Dr. Nathan. My house is only a stone's throw from this clinic, perhaps with satu batu U boleh huntam dua burung?
Please be informed that I only poke fun at others when there is a need for it. Wait till I unlock my chest of sarcasm and empty my drawers full of riddles, SNAKE WILL ALSO DIE OH!
Regards.
