Hi,need some feed back from all of you on how to train a show dog.I showed my pup in MKA show recently and this was the first time for both of us.....me and my dog. First time for my dog to enter the show ring and first time for me to be a handler. Due to the crowd and noisy environment,my dog tend to be very nervous and reluctant to walk in the ring.Besides,when the judge started to touch on her body,she tend to be very playful and started to play with the judge. Would really appreciate if anyone of you can give me some advice.Thanks!!
is this the 1st time you bring your dog out to a big crowd? if yes, you should socialised your dog more often. do bring him to the Dog Carnival in Mid Valley or join the puppy.com gathering. after more socialisation, your dog will not be nervous anymore.
