Would anyone here share some ideas on building a kennel suitable for housing a GSD? I have seen some military designs for housing their K9s on the Net but it might be a bit difficult to construct such a design over here in Malaysia. Some pointers to other designs available on the Net would be great.
Is a concrete floor sufficient or another type of support more suitable for our canine friend?
Appropriate dimensions to allow for growth of the dog?
Personal space within the kennel (do you call that a run?)
Kennel is to provide a resting place for the canine and protection against the elements (rain, extreme heat etc) and a temporary area to place the canine whenever there are strangers in the compound and maybe provide protection against theft until it is big enough to defend itself.
