Hi guys, did you come across b4 that your dog shortness of breath but not always?just suddenly shortness of breath, not even bring him out for a walk yet.............its not very often, just once or twice a week, is it any sign of sickness?
thanks for your reply xyne! nope, he didn't chunk anything, just suddenly only shortness of breath, yup, its like asthma......u come across with that b4 with ur dogs?I've bring him to vets but vets told me something that what you told me "chunk".......
U know which vets shop good n professional enuf and how much for this kind of checking cost?
nope.. my dogs havent had such problems before.. maybe they choked before..but nothing really serious.
i stay in PJ.. have tried a few vets... i think mine is quite good.. wont charge u consultation if nothing serious n wont advice u on stuff u dont need... why not i e-mail u some vet's i know, u could try??
I own a silky terrier too. The problem you mentioned is called wheezing...It comes suddenly wan rite? Well, what i normally do is:
1. Try to block the breathing passage for the noise. Make them breath thru the mouth. You can put your fingers infront of the dog nostrils. It should get better this way
IF wheezing still persist
2. Let them smell some tiger balm or something like that. It cures the problem SERIOUSLY

You can call me eve From what i know, this usually happens to short muzzle dogs such as boston terrier or bulldogs. Well, i think this happens to Jaz(my dog) because she keeps eating up her own furball hahaha that's y choke lor...
