hi! i want to know where can i buy 70% isopropyl alcohol around kl, more specifically ampang area? i have been asking around and no one knows what that thing is! Please help me and reply a.s.a.p
well it sure have a lot of uses.. for instance can clean your dawg's ear, or clean my camera lens, or rubbing it on before getting injections(for doctors)
i tried every pharmacy in and around ampang point, which is apex, guardian, and some other forgot the names. i asked them also they didnt know what that thing is.
Pharmacies should have it. Did you ask the pharmacist or the sales assistants there? Sometimes, these medical terms can cause the sales assistants to be a little blur.
Go to a pharmacy and see the shelves/area where they put bandages/first aid kits/Hansaplast/etc.etc.... They sometimes call it alcohol cotton swabs or alcohol swabs, wrapped in small square packets.

alcohol cotton swab is the actual spirit or issit cotton dipped in the spirit, n then they sell the dipped cotton? i mean is alcohol cotton swab is in liquid form or what?
coz i wrote down "70% isopropyl alcohol" on a piece of paper and let the pharmacist see it, and then she said we dont sell/have these stuff.. and i just walk away..
Yes, they sell the alcohol cotton swab, in small hygienic packs, most probably white colour packet. To be more long-winded and precise, it's a piece of cotton, dipped in the alcohol and then packed in individual packs. Just take the cotton out, use it, then throw. Very convenient.
I've never seen them selling it in liquid (or in a bottle). Maybe they do and I never noticed it before.

they do have it.........we bought a bottle of sterlizing alcohol from pharmacy b4 try asking for sterilizing alcohol........? but if do remember....yes pharmacy have it.....
just use generic names.........try surgical spirit.
I'm not sure if pharmacies sell it because, if I'm not mistaken,it's illegal to be sold publicly. I'll have to check with my dad though(he's a pharmacist). I think u hv to be in the industry to obtain it.

if it's for sterilizing purposes, you can get it off the shelf from any pharmacist, just ask for alcohol swabs or sterilizing alcohol. I think much much easier to just get the swabs, and they're cheap too. RM 7 or so for 100 pieces...the last time i bought lah...
i went to pharmacies around ampang and they dont seem to have 70% isopropyl alcohol in liquid form, which is quite sad, only have alcohol swab. and realitydreamer, if your dad can obtain it in liquid form, pls reply asap.
