After Cherry Eye Surgery??? Can't Post

Hi,

My 3 month old cocker spaniel "Percy" had a cherry eye fixed 2 days ago. When I picked him up from the vet he smells like he has been rolling in his urine and I would like to give him a bath. Anyone have any suggestions about protecting his eye? He is very calm when being washed but I am more concerned about the eye getting wet.

I also read that you can use contact lens solution to rinse dogs eyes out a few drops. Is this a fact?? And it will not irratate them?

Thanks Barbara Smile

Available in most reputable petshops a product called 'Dry Bath'. Works quite well.
