Sensitive skin on miniature schnauzer? Can't Post

Is it normal for min schnauzer to develop dry skin? My min schnauzer (5.5mth) has this problem recently.It look like a dry rough skin attached to its skin.Its quite a bit pactch under its body.I wanted to applied petroleom jelly.Is it ok????Smile

wat food do you give? does it sleep on its pee or Cement floor?

Do you give anything salty or bread?

Best if you could provide some vital info

I dunno about petroleum jelly though but any cream for dry skin will sure help!

Its better to take it to the vet to get a clearer pix of wat it is.

errUnsure.I gave him eukanuba small breed,no human food.I was told that it is normal for this breed of dog.I suspect it was his nail that kena the skin.So i trim his nail but it was not that long though..

He sleep in the house,on the tiles, with the rug on the floor.i kept his place and my home clean where i mop the floor everyday and his rug change every week(sometime every 3 days)I use shampoo for puppy from bio groom.err..Anything wrong??

hmm...then it shouldnt be anything to worry about!

It could be his nails like u said. but try applying some sensitive cream on him!....

Hello, my MS got dat problem b4 too. i guess u can apply some Olive oil n put some cream for ur Schnauzer. If, its still getting serious, u may take ur Ms to vet...it's for incase. Cos last time i took my MS to vet too...n the Doc gave some medicine n ask me to apply Olive oil on her skin(Which is in 'ill')...cos the skin problem will 'growing'..Smileok...hope ur MS is health n happy .
