My shih zhu is getting matured now and having period. Anyone has any advice how should I deal with it?? At the moment she has been grounded in the cage because we scare that she might dirty the house with the blood stain
congrats coz she'll getting into her adulthood...u can try buying the sanitary pants from the petshop where they have disposable pads like human. please for whatever means never let a male dog come near ur baby or else...unwanted pregnancy is at risk.
the duration of the period will last for around 2 weeks....or better alternative-spay her after her menses
I am like 1st time being a father. Feel so anxious about it. I have seen the doggie pampers before. I am going to get it tomorrow. About to spay or not to spay... actually which one is good for the dog?
i know how cute she looks esp whith her pants on. well, this is ur first xperience, don't worry u'll get accustomized to it later.
maybe u should consider spaying ur dog if u r not planning to breed.actually spaying does more good than harm eg it can prevent cervix cancer n other types of cancers. at the same time u don't have to worry if ur girl was accidentally mated n best of all no HORNY males in front of ur gate n no more hassle.
if u spay now, u don't have to spend so much as it'll be costlier if u spay ur dog when it's older coz the operation to remove the ovaries will be more complicated n she'll take a longer period to recover.
if u do not intend to breed your dog i think you should really consider of having her spayed. and if she's spayed she won't face much trouble such as getting 'raped" and some other stuffs that i can't remember but it's definitely better to have her spayed!
anyway Daniel, we all know and ur mom oso know u crazy oledi....kakakakakhehehe
