As for Tau Tau....is 5...she don't hicups...then for Baby...he hicups a lot these days...so its 4...izzit a bad sign????

All our 3Hs got hiccups..but as to the tendency..not sure la..only at times..hehehe..so cute when they hiccup!! Tongue

hmm..yeah..must make them drink water..u know ah..our Harry (ST-4 mths +) drinks alot (plays alot also Laugh

).. one day can finish one small bottle of water..

yeah...but sometimes i call him drink water...he just look at me...blur blur only...

Baby also can finish 1/2 a bottle a day....but i think1/2 of the 1/2 portion of water all drop on the floor...lol Sly

currently i only have 1 furkid...which is Baby...and he is a shih tzu.. oh the one on my avatar is the previous pup i rear which her name is Tau Tau a JRT mixed..which have been adopted last week.

Hi,

So far..all the dogs I've had..majority of the time they hiccup most when they are pups. Then it eventually gets less and less as they grow older..and now...barely hear it..only occasionally.

So i guess the answer is...dont know

yea i guess it's true for hunter also. used to have hiccups so often, like everyday when he was at puppyhood.

now, no more. only burps, farts and snores :p

anyway, there's an old saying that when little kids hiccup, it means they're growing :) wonder if it works same for our dogs, eh?

hiccup A LOT during his first puppyhood ~
Vet's (simplified version of) explanation was.... puppies tend to eat pretty fast and just swallow everything in without proper chewing.... when they swallowing fast, they might consume more air into stomach and that cause the hiccup.

hmmmm come to think of it in scientifically...like those vet....its could be true also...Baby really is eating quite fast recently compared to the week before...hmmmm
