In conjunction with first PuppycomMalaysia K9 Day, the organizing committee would like to highlight and share this featured event, the Puppycom Malaysia Dog Beauty Pageant 2004.
The Puppycom Malaysia Dog Beauty Pageant 2004 is subdivided into 3 different groups :- 1. Small : Dogs below 15" 2. Medium : Dogs below 20" 3. Large : Dogs from 20" and above
Each group is to have 6 finalist ( 3 bitch and 3 dog) as selected contestant to be in the final round
1st Parade Walk - Gait walk and body shape 2nd Parade Walk - Parading best wear 3rd Parade Walk - Talent time (Best Trick or Obedient)
- 2 minutes is allocated for each participants - Tricks/OB have to be within the allocated time
Finalist of each group (3 bitch and 3 dog) is to be judge against others group to get the top 3 pair of Mr & Ms Puppycom 2004 (3 bitch and 3 dog pair).
Finalist judging will be based on : - Dressing of dog - Walk and Poise and confidence of dog during parade
Other prizes to be in the pageant :
- Mr/Miss Photogenic The number one dog who parades with confidence, not shy at all loves the camera and attention will win this award.
- Most Popular Contestant Votes to be based on audience where they would be given a few star stickers during registration and they need to put the sticker onto a cardboard where we would count stars as the winner !
- Best Dressed Dog / Most Creatively Dressed Dog The one dog who is voted by judges as the best dress or the most creatively dressed will win this prize.
- Best Performer/Most Intelligent Dog Votes to be based on dog obedient/intelligence.

hi boon! This is a very fun event! I am interested to participate. I am going back to measure doodle to see whether he is below 20 " or above. Measure from head or shoulder?
do we have to pay to enter? or can register on that day itself?
and then the best tricks, is it ok if i use treats to bait him?

Hi Doodle,
hahah, sorry for confusing, to measure the height of a dog is from the toe to shoulder. So for Doodle, she is catagarize under large breed even he is not as tall.
The registration form should be ready for download from puppycom in a day or 2. Alternatively u can register online and you don't have to pay a single cent for participation. It going to be another fun and joyful day for you and doodle and i wish you could have something home with him at the end of the day.
And yes u can use treat for the tricks :)
