Hello! I'm just now reading this, but congratulations on your GSD. My Pit Bulls train in Schutzhund, and one actually comes from working lines. . .which is HARD to find, as it's not very popular to use Pit Bulls as working dogs. I actually have GSD and Dobe people come up to me after seeing my boy go through his obedience and protection and say "That is a NICE working dog!" It's good to hear from them- that's not something they would say often about a Pit Bull! Anyway, I train with a lot of GSD's as well. . .Good luck with your girl! Are you going to work her, as well??

Hi there
Thanks for the compliments! Jodie is more of a pet/friend/companion than anything else.
The basic training I gave her is to ensure that she is at least obedient and well behaved. Anyway, I mustn't take all the credit because GSDs are such easy dogs to train and they like to please their owners a lot.
She loves to run and exercise and sometimes I am having trouble keeping up with her fitness level! In fact, since I've had her, I've also lost some weight. Good for me. Cheers!
