Before the dog arrives..??

angelwen Novice Oct 10, 2003, 12:08 AM Views: 1850 Before the dog arrives..?? i would like to know, what must i get ready for the dog which i want to adopt? it will arrive here end of oct.. its a silky terrier. below are the list of some things ive thought of... did i miss out anything? 1. crate (what kind is better though?) 2. water bottle 3. dog food (what brand again) 4. eating bowls 5 combs 6. shampoo please feel free to add to the list and some advice too!

kesuke Doggyman Oct 10, 2003, 5:49 AM Views: 1843 Re: [angelwen] Before the dog arrives..?? hi there! so your silky terrier is arriving this month huh? great!! as for your list: 1. crate (what kind is better though?) silky terriers are very small so a small crate should be ok. 2. water bottle 3. dog food (what brand again) it depends on your preference and budget. some dogs thrive on certain brands of dog food while others don't. but do get at least a premium or super premium grade kibble or better still, holistic kibble. 4. eating bowls 5 combs 6. shampoo 7. leash (to take her out for walks or if you can train her to walk off-leash, then you don need one ) 8. toys 9. treats ....emm....can't think of anything else now.......we should ask eve (lulugurl) for help!!!! If you want to feed your furkid with dog food, please don feed him/her with human food even though he/she beg for it. Prepare some towers (dry the coat after bathing), cloth for him/her.
