do your dogs fight?

Amanda85 Doggyman Oct 4, 2003, 10:42 PM Views: 3613 do your dogs fight? i own two dogs, one is a 5 year old terrier and aother is a 5 month mongrel. eventhough the mongrel puppy size is larger then the terrier, the puppy seems to be afraid of the terrier. sometimes when i'm not free to play with the puppy, he will takes his towel and run toward the terrier and wanted to play tug a war with him. but the terrier is so unfriendly and always tends to bark at him. sometimes they also fight and bit each other. very noisy. Talking about fighting, my silky (hazel) is always very hostile to my GR (hugo - whom join the family later). They dont seem to be on good terms with each other and hazel can be quite jealous whenever we sayang hugo. One is super small and the other is big (not huge yet) - could be a possible reason.. Really wonder how to get them "in terms" with one another.. any suggestions?

And I also just got a new silky terrier (male) named Harry (almost 2 months). Hopefully Hazel and Harry will slowly slowly get along and play together. Hazel is still very "chuin" but Hugo, though so huge as compared to the pup, is so excited to see Harry.. Wish me luck !

Hugo gotta watch his step..scare terpijak lil harry..ahahaa well, my dogs sleep, train, eat and play together..although my terrier can be cocky at times, she does play with the rest of them...but the dalmatians(puzzle and patches) have to be careful while playing with her lor...cannot pull her tail or sure kena baham...ahaha.. yumiko_masaki ALPHA Oct 16, 2003, 9:19 PM Views: 2221 Re: [Amanda85] do your dogs fight?   hello... i won 2 dogs too.. i have one minpinwhich is 3 yrs old and a labbie which it's just only 3 months old... and i want to share my experience with you... my minpin is the most pampered dog that i ever had... my family pampered him the most and then he will always wanted attention frim me and my mom. and whenever we go he will followed us and was very attach to us... then when my my new labbie arrive my minpin was of course really angry and sad .. plus very jealous.. cause right now the new pup has taken half of his attention from us... and then he started to bark and growl at my new pup... and i think it was time to show my minpin that he have to share the love we give and then let him know that no matter what, we still love him the same... so we give them equal of everything and then play with both of them equally and bring them out together and let both of them play together and get to know each other... hmm.. i guess it does take time... for them to bond with each other... just let them be together much more longer and then let them get used to each other... and right now.. both of them are really happy to be with together... and sometimes if they don't see each other they will felt sad and lonely.. and guess what my labbie is now much bigger than my minpin and they can cope with each other now.. i guess you don't need to worried so much.. ~~~ It'S a DoGgY DoG WorLD~~ %%%% ^""'^ %%%% ( ' ; ' ) (")**(") WOW!
