red undercoat

I purchased my 3. black giant schnauzer who is a female, now at 8 months of age & for a first time I have experienced problem of red undercoat. I don't know is it normal, maybe a genetic heritage, does anyone knows something about that topic, please help me?!! I really don't know what to do, I trimmed a bit of that, but on the sun light is very obvious. I fed her with Belcando, but now for a week I put her on Royal Canin Maxi Junior. She was in her first heat untill a week ago, but the red undercoat has apeared 2 months ago. P.S. excuse my bad english

Every bit of the fur there will change colour.. my furkid's fur underneath the body is clear colour until he was around 1 yr old...it started to change colour and i was really surprised....but i dunno izzit normal or not like that...but i do need to cut the fur as it can easily entangled. Anyway, nothing happened and now already 5 month by now that his fur changed colour... ^^Jan^^
